Just a note to record my current swing thoughts: 1) Proper grip – light and in the fingers 2) Setup for a draw – swing from the inside 3) “Open hips” I really have only one (1) swing thought (open hips), the other two are pre-swing preparation. Regards, NG

Today practiced hitting “knockdown” iron shots with 6-iron and 5-iron.  These use an abbreviated swing, and are good for: (a) practicing proper impact position (b) hitting low shots when it’s windy (c) a backup swing when my regular full swing timing is off.
