Picked up a used Sand Wedge at local Golfsmith.  It’s a Mizuno, age unknown, loft and bounce unknown.  I’m just going with the brand here, that and it was only 10 bucks. 

Shots with the six iron generally improving.  Fewer complete misses.  Ball still going only 100 yards or so.  There was a complete golf set (Nicklaus brand) on sale at Costco for $200.  Pitching Wedge through 5-Iron, plus two Hybrids (3 and 4), two Woods (3 and 5) and a Driver.  I have no idea yet [...]

Bought a used 6-iron (Cleveland brand) from the local Golfsmith for around 20 bucks.  Took this to the driving range to start hitting balls.  Results were somewhat amusing.  The ball would generally fly off to the right in a curve (slice) despite my best intentions.  That’s when I made contact: several complete misses of the [...]
